Sumitomo’s Safe

The Kentucky Labor Cabinet has recognized Scottsville’s Sumitomo plant on Old Gallatin Road for an achievement the company and its workers appreciate: 1,099,687 work hours without an injury serious enough to result in lost work time.

The plant employs 184 workers and makes automotive wiring system components for customers including Honda, Toyota and Ford.
